StreamChatGames is a platform that lets Twitch streamers run interactive casino-style games directly through chat. Viewers play poker, roulette, blackjack, and plinko by typing commands or using their personalized viewer dashboard.
StreamChatGames is currently in open beta and free to use for both creators and viewers. There will always be a free tier — the core experience of viewers playing games through chat will remain free. If the project grows, paid tiers may be introduced down the road for things like concurrent player limits, access to new games, or advanced features like custom overlay branding. Nothing is set in stone yet, but transparency matters.
Twitch is fully supported now. YouTube chat integration is coming soon.
No. Games run through chat commands and the viewer dashboard. Creators add an overlay URL as an OBS browser source — no download or extension needed.
Games & Chips
No. Chips are virtual, for entertainment only. They cannot be exchanged for real currency. Balances reset monthly on the 1st.
You start with 1,000 chips. Earn more by winning games, subscribing to the channel, or cheering bits. Monthly bonuses are also available through the viewer dashboard.
Currently four: All-In Hold'em (poker), American Roulette, Community Blackjack, and Plinko. More games are in development.
Effectively no. All games support up to 10,000 players per round. Your entire chat can play at the same time.
Yes. Chip balances reset monthly on the 1st, so everyone starts fresh each month. This keeps the competition fair and the leaderboards exciting.
Each channel has its own leaderboard ranking viewers by chips, chip volume, wins, and games played. Monthly leaderboards reset on the 1st alongside chip balances, keeping competition fresh. All-time leaderboards track lifetime performance across all resets, so dedicated players always have something to show for it.
Viewer Dashboard
The viewer dashboard is a personalized web page where you can play games, check your chip balance, view game history, see leaderboard rankings, and manage your account. Each streamer has a unique viewer dashboard URL — no need to type in chat if you prefer playing from the web.
No. While chat commands are the quickest way to play, you can also join games and perform actions through the viewer dashboard interface.
For Creators
Yes. Creators can choose payout models, configure permissions, and enable or disable specific games. Beyond the 10 built-in themes, you can customize table colors, card styles, accent colors, and overlay appearance — giving your games a unique look that matches your brand.
Creators can control who starts and joins games with separate settings for when they're live versus offline. Options include everyone, subscribers only, moderators only, or creator only.
We only read game commands from your chat (messages starting with ! like !allin or !bet). We don't store general chat messages. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes. The bot can announce game starts, confirm joins, share results, and more. You can toggle each message type individually in your Creator Dashboard under Chat Bot Settings.
Monetization & Revenue
Yes. You earn through Twitch subscriptions and bits. Restrict games to subscribers only, require bits for chip refills, or use hybrid mode where subscribers refill for free and non-subscribers need bits. All revenue goes directly to you through Twitch — we don't take a cut.
When viewers cheer bits on your channel, that support accumulates on their account. When they run out of chips and have met your threshold, they can refill. After each refill, their support balance resets — so they need to keep cheering between refills. You control the refill mode and threshold in your Creator Dashboard settings.
Yes. Subscribers start with 1,500 chips instead of 1,000, get the same bonus on refills, and can access subscriber-only games if you enable that setting.
